Now

can I have faith?
Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the
message is heard through the word of Christ. Romans 10:17
Benefits
of having faith.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,
that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16
Though
you have not seen him, you love him; and even though
you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an
inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the goal of
your faith, the salvation of your souls. 1 Peter 1:8-9
About
Gods faithfulness.
Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for his
compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is
your faithfulness. I say to myself, "The LORD is my portion;
therefore I will wait for him." The LORD is good to those whose
hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait
quietly for the salvation of the LORD. Lamentations 3:22-26

What
is grace?
From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing
after another. For the law was given through Moses; grace and
truth came through Jesus Christ. John 1:16-17
For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all
men. It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly
passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in
this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope-the
glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ,
who gave himself for us toredeem us from all wickedness and
to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do
what is good. Titus 2:11-14
How
can I receive Gods grace?
This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus
Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have
sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely
by his grace through the redemption that cameby Christ Jesus.
Romans 3:22-24
Benefits
of Gods grace.
Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which
can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those
who are sanctified. Acts 20:32
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have
peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom
we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now
stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only
so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that
suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and
character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because
God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit,
whom he has given us. Romans 5:1-5
About
Gods grace.
But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy,
made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in
transgressions-it
is by grace you have been saved. And God
raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly
realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might
show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his
kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been
saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift
of
God-not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's
workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which
God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:4-10
But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he
saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but
because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth
and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us
generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been
justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of
eternal life. This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress
these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be
careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things
are excellent and profitable for everyone. Titus 3:4-8

What
is hope?
We
wait in hope for the LORD; he is our help and our shield.
In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. May your
unfailing love rest upon us, O LORD, even as we put our hope
in you. Psalm 33:20-22
How
can I have hope?
Find
rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him.
He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will
not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God;
he is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times,
O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.
Psalm 62:5-8
Benefits
of being hopeful.
Do you
not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the
everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will
not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can
fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the
power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and
young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Isaiah 40:28-31
About
hope.
Yet this
I call to mind and therefore I have hope: Because of the
LORD's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions

What
is joy?
A cheerful
look brings joy to the heart, and good news gives
health to the bones. Proverbs 15:30
Perfume
and incense bring joy to the heart, and the
pleasantness of one's friend springs from his earnest
counsel. Proverbs 27:9
How
can my life be more joy-filled?
If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I
have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in his love.
I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your
joy may be complete. My command is this: Love each other as
I have loved you. John 15:10-12
May
the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust
in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the
Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13
Benefits
of being joyful.
Surely
God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The
LORD is my strength and my song; he has become my
salvation." With joy you will draw water from the wells of
salvation. Isaiah 12:2-3
But
the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness,
goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against
such things there is no law. Gal 5:22-23
About joy.
So
with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again
and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy. In that
day you will no longer ask me anything. I tell you the truth, my
Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. Until now
you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will
receive, and your joy will be complete. John 16:22-24
